Rumbidzai Bvunzawabaya nee Midzi is the founder and Principal of RBM Solicitors.
Mrs Bvunzawabaya was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales on 15 December 2003.
Her areas of interest are Immigration, Asylum, and International Family Law.
Mrs Bvunzawabaya has extensive experience in dealing with Immigration Law after having worked for the Law Society dealing with investigation of Solicitors in Immigration matters. She is an accreditated Level 2 Senior Immigration Caseworker.
She has over 10 years of direct legal experience
(3 years in general private practice, and 7 years practicing and specializing in Immigration and Asylum law in the UK).
She is well known for being empathic, customer focused and results orientated. Rumbi is well
known for her positive outlook. Rumbi has assisted an elderly Zimbabwean national who
sought to extend her leave to remain in the UK as a dependant of her son who has naturalised
as a British Citizen.
Before coming to see Rumbi she had made an unsuccessful application
for ILR and spent thousands of pounds pursuing an appeal where she clearly did not meet
the requirements of the Immigration Rules. Rumbi advised her on making an application
for discretionary leave to remain on the basis of Article 8 and compassionate grounds . We
successfully made an application after the expiry of her leave to remain and she was granted
3 years discretionary leave to remain . How we have helped

Rumbi is a married to Muchada her business partner. They have three children. In her spare
time Rumbi attends to Church. In addition to English she is a fluent Shona speaker and
speaks rudimentary Ndebele.
